Frequently Asked Questions

How much does counselling cost?

My regular fee is £75 per 50 minute session. I operate a sliding scale, which means I can also offer lower-cost counselling to those with a more modest income. These places are limited so please contact me to enquire about availability.

What happens in the first session?

No two counselling sessions are the same of course but during the initial session I will ask more questions than usual to gain a picture of where you are in your life and an idea of what the issues that you struggle with are.

There will also be time for you to ask me any questions you may have about counselling or the way in which I work.

We will also go through the practicalities of counselling sessions such as times & dates, confidentiality, payment etc

What is are your qualifications/training

I hold a diploma in Psychosynthesis Psychotherapeutic Counselling and an MA in Psychosynthesis Psychology. I also have supervision to continually develop my work and undergo Continuous Personal Development with various groups.
